Back again with a challenge layout, this time for 'Stuck Sketches'.
This is the Jan 15th sketch:
And my take:
The patt. paper is Basic Grey 'Cupcake', Prima flowers, Maya Rd envie, Pink Paislee pleated ribbon.
Found the sweet baby quote, thought it went well the pics i took of Hudson at 3 months. He's nearly 10 months now! It goes too quickly.
Anyways, i've been stalking all the manufacturers for the new CHA releases.
Faves so far:
PRIMA everything!
American Crafts new Dear Lizzy line, ummmm so cute i wanna spew!
Basic Grey PP&J, lurve lurve the colours.
MME everything! Especially Miss Caroline collection.
Honestly I'm pretty much loving everything coming out, i find myself humming "I wanna be a billionare, so freakin' baaaaaad...."!!!!!
What have been your favourites so far?
Cheers, and thanks for stopping by!

Busy trying to complete as many layouts as i can for the Jan deadline! Lol, i have half the day left and heaps to do, might have miss out on few...
I decided to have a go at 'Scrap Jacked' this month. I jacked Andrea's layout:
Yes, another christmas layout! There's always so many to scrap each year, and i have a rather large stash of christmas papers....
Used Crate Paper 'North Pole' papers, Prima flowers.
Also entered into Prima's Build-A-Page:
Used the 'Londonerry' paper range, it's too cute!
And lastly, my entry for 'Handmade by Suzanne' Jan sketch challenge:
Used Kaiser "Loire Valley" papers, Prima flowers, Kaiser flourish.
This is miss Sophia, even though she looks like a boy with her blue singlet on. I had heaps of blue baby stuff when she was born because i was convinced i was having a boy! Lol. They were taken at Arthur River in Tasmania, a beautiful, memorable holiday.

Happy Sunday everyone! Today is my beautiful sis in law's baby shower. We're all very excited about the arrival of the new bubs.
This layout is my entry for White With 1, theme was 'white & lime & buttons'. I enjoyed this challenge and happy with the result!
Sorry for the fuzzy pic. Just couldn't get it right!
Used Pink Paislee Bayberry Cottage collection, Prima & Kaiser flowers, and the flags were made from Zva packaging.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hello all. I've been very slack with my scrapping/blogging lately. I've been re-reading the 'Clan of the Cave Bear' series again (i first read it as a 14 year old!), the last book in the series came out last year and loved the books so much i wanted to familiarise myself with them again...
i did this entry for 'Scrap the Girls' jan comp, which was monochromatic themed.
Love the Bubblegum Hills range of Kaisercraft papers, so i went with orange. Also used lots of Prima, luuurve that breton vine, it's to die for! The chip birdcage is also Kaiser.
Seriously, who could resist that smile? She knows how to turn on the charm, especially when she wants something!
I'll be back tomorrow with my WW1 layout, the photos i took today were rubbish, although i managed to salvage this one somewhat... ugh i'm working on my photography skills, slowly but surely...

The lovely summer weather has returned. A little too soon perhaps, i'm off to the Australian Open tomorrow and its going to be 36 degrees! Ugh. Cant wait to see some great tennis though.
I did some cleaning this morning (hooray!), so i rewarded myself with a bit of scrap time...
I've been tackling lots of boy layouts lately!
This layout is for Scrap the Boys, the theme being 'summer holiday past times'.
Since bubba Hudson is experiencing his first summer, i didnt have many pics to choose from.
Used Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety Collection, Zva & Prima flowers.
We're outside on a picnic rug in this pic. It was back in Nov, he had just started crawling. I know its not quite summer, but i got lots of cute pics of the kids on this beautiful day. We havn't had too many 'beach' days yet, so Hudson is yet to have a play in the sand. I'm not really a beach girl anymore (post children!), Geelong Surfcoast beaches are way too crowded this time of year...
Off to watch some tennis on the telly.
Cheers, thanks for stopping by!

Aaah Saturday. 12.30 and i'm still in my pj's...
Kiddies were happy watching a dvd so did some scrapping.
This was my entry for Anna's Craft Cupboard jan sketch:
Trying to do more 'boy' layouts! I cant resist using flowers though, my pages feel naked without them. Why cant boys have flowers??
Hudson's little face is so cute here. He's whinging, had enough of mama taking pics, about 4 months old. Even then he didn't like to sit still for very long.
I've just started mix feeding him. The only time he keeps still for a feed is his 4am one, when he's sleepy. The little fidget bum cannot keep still even for milky milk! I love breast feeding my babies, so its hard to let go. I'm happy to get up for the 4am feed while i'm not working, i'm not ready to let go yet! Bubs is just so energetic, on the go and perhaps easily distracted. I wonder what kind of little boy he'll be! He's pretty cluey, just like Sophia was and is, but she's much more relaxed, and more cuddley! She'll happily sit on my lap for hugs. She's starting to understand the concept of languages (thanks to Dora the Explorer), and has decided she wants to learn French! She even knows how to change the setting on her DS so the game speaks to her in french. Geez, she's 3!
Anyways, time to sort out lunch for my hungry kiddies (Adrian included...)

So i saw the movie yesterday, and it was AWESOME!
Wasn't disappointed at all.
This layout is for Scrap Therapy's letter challenge, which is 'P'.
The pics are of beautiful Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsundays. Adrian and i went March 2010. One of those holidays you never forget.
I always struggle to scrap holiday pics. Patterned paper can sometimes take away from the scenic photos. So i decided to omit patterned paper and use white as a base. I'm loving what some ladies do with misting and paints, so i had a go at it myself! I dont really buy mists, i prefer to spend my cash on flowers... so i raided Sophia's paint box. I flicked blue and black paint with a paint brush and loved the result. Made me feel very arty, lol! Of course added Prima flowers, twine and chipboard.
This was one of those very satisfying layouts, which is rare for me. I tend to force myself to walk away from my layouts before i ruin them by adding too much!
Have you seen all the Prima CHA sneek peaks yet? I'm so excited, all those flowers are to die for. Hope they dont take too long to ship to Aus...
